M.A. in International Relations at Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies, Waseda University. Currently PhD student in Department of Education, Sophia University, Japan.
My research focuses on Human Cooperation, Global Citizenship Education and Sustainability. I am interested in the dynamics of complex social systems and impacts of education measures on large- scale cooperation, especially in the context of Risk Society. I use evolutionary framework to understand the risks either inherent in certain social structures or contingent upon specific events/policies, and to prototype education solutions based on specific contexts. Other research interests include media literacy education, democratization, and international development. I host “Oddly normal” podcast, where I interview scholars and professionals about the odd and normal aspects of ideas in science, technology, history, society & culture.
