Creative learning in Higher Education draws much attention as an urgent issue today. How can we realize “assurance of high-quality and diverse learning“ to foster global citizens who will lead to sustainable social development? Sophia University and International Christian University in Japan have joined the OECD Project on Fostering and Assessing Students’ Creative and Critical Thinking Skills in Higher Education since 2019.
This project is based on that OECD project and was initiated with the following two objectives; 1)What kind of learning outcome evaluation index and teaching / evaluation model are effective for realizing the task of visualizing learning outcomes in the quality assurance approach of higher education, 2)How to confront the difference in socio-cultural context of the evaluation index and how to make it consistent with the universalization of the model. We aim to become a platform for international comparative and international education by collaborating with various domestic and international higher education researchers, institutions, and international organization.
