Launching Symposium “Values, Challenges and Prospects of Education for Sustainable Futures”

A launching symposium for Comparative and International Education Research on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Asia, titled “Values, Challenges and Prospects of Education for Sustainable Futures” was held on 26 March 2022.

Prof. Takeshi Okada, Vice President for Academic Research Affair, Sophia University made his opening remarks, and Ms. Taka Horio, ASPnet National Coordinator in Japan, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, delivered her guest speech.

Mr. Shigeru Aoyagi (Director, UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education, UNESCO Bangkok), and Dr. Blaine Harvey (William Dawson Scholars, McGill University) delivered their keynote speeches.
