Sophia University has now launched a comparative international education research project on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This seminar invites experts involved in ESD at home and abroad to discuss values, roles and challenges of ESD. For the third session, we have invited Dr Bruce Moghtader, British Columbia University from Vancouver, CanadaWe are looking forward to your participation.

◆Short bio
 Dr. Bruce Moghtader  is a Canadian educator. In the past 10 years, he has been engaged in advancing institutional strategic plans on engaged scholarship and experiential education at the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria. He is currently a faculty member at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and continues to build institutional capacity for scholarship of teaching and community engagement with a focus on social impact at the University of British Columbia. His research interests include education ethics, scholarship of teaching, and knowledge economy. He is the author of Foucault and Educational Ethics.
